We are a team of researchers based in the Population Health Sciences Institute at Newcastle University. Our research focuses on the health and wellbeing of women, birthing parents, and babies from the time of conception to the postnatal period and beyond. Our reserach aims to answer important questions, such as:

• What leads to good or bad outcomes for women and their babies?
• What can be done to ensure that all babies have the best start in life?
• How can healthcare best meet the needs of women and birthing parents, babies, and their wider families?
