Information about this Research Project

What is it about?

This questionnaire is part of a dissertation project which seeks to explore the attitudes towards data science held by SLTs in the UK and the main barriers that SLTs face when putting data science skills into practice.

We have already collected information from practising clinicians, and now we are exploring the same questions with final year students.

This survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete. Participants are free to withdraw from the study at any time without needing to provide a reason. All participation is greatly appreciated.

Who is taking part?

All pre-registration SLT students in the final year of their degree programme are invited to take part in this research. Your participation is greatly appreciated.

Who is conducting this research?

This project is being conducted by Rachel Mabbs, an undergraduate SLT student at Newcastle University, and supervised by Vic Knowland and Ghada Khattab. If you have any further questions regarding the project, you are welcome to contact Rachel Mabbs (r.darling@newcastle.ac.uk), Vic Knowland (vic.knowland@newcastle.ac.uk) or Ghada Khattab (ghada.khattab@newcastle.ac.uk).

What will happen to the information I provide?
